At Dargo we use low stress stock handling techniques to produce happy contented livestock. Our dedication to the production of beef goes hand in hand with our passion for preserving and rejuvenating the ecology of the land on which our cattle graze.
Our philosophy is to produce the highest quality product from well bred Angus females, Wagyu bulls with the best Tajima marbling genetics and by the using highest standard of animal welfare.
Our animals are grazed in a rotational grazing system, on a mixture of introduced (cocksfoot, phalaris, rye, clovers) and native pastures. This grazing technique not only provides the cattle with a constant supply of fresh, healthy pastures, it rests the land for longer between grazing periods to restore the natural ecological balance.
